Gregory G. Evans
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Greg Evans founded Aslan in Louisville, Kentucky in 1996. Under his leadership the company has grown from a boutique developer of workforce multifamily properties to a fully diversified developer focused in a variety of segments. Today, the company employs 50 people, has operations in eight southern states and has projects totaling more that $2 billion currently in the construction or development phase.
Evans' career spans more than 20 years in the development and construction industries. As Vice President of Development for Underhill Associates, a development firm in Louisville, Evans acquired expertise in the low and moderate income tax credit business. Prior to Underhill, Evans spent four years at Jacksonville, Florida-based The Haskell Company, one of the largest design-build firms in the southeast. At Haskell, Evans became proficient in all aspects of the construction process.
Evans is very focused on Aslan's commitment to community affairs. Over the years, Aslan has sponsored many civic events, such as the Tenth Annual Kentucky Derby Eve Mint Jubilee Gala Fundraiser to benefit several cancer centers. Evans serves on the Board of Directors for the Historic Homes Foundation and is a member of the Louisville Salvation Army Advisory Board.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Technologies from the University of North Florida.
Paul V. Widman
President, Aslan Hallmark
Paul Widman is the President of Aslan's Hallmark Division, directing all aspects of the development and ownership of the company's workforce housing projects. Since joining Aslan in 2002, Widman has supervised more than 1,100 units of workforce housing throughout the southeast with a total development cost of more than $90 million.
Widman's responsibilities include targeting sites for development, negotiating purchase contracts, analyzing market and feasibility studies, and working hand in hand with the management company during leasing and operating periods.
Widman is a graduate of Transylvania University with a Bachelor of Arts in Management.
Robert R. Nunnelley, Jr.
Senior Vice President
Rob Nunnelley is responsible for the management and strategic direction of all operational aspects of Aslan’s multi-family properties. As Senior Vice President, he oversees market strategy, financial analysis and performance, property management, partner relations, and market research. In addition to property operational responsibilities Rob oversees the insurance requirements for the company.
Before being promoted to Senior Vice President, Rob served as Aslan’s Vice President – Multi-family, which included asset management responsibilities for the company’s market rate multi-family properties.
Joining the company in 2004 as Director of Operations, Rob managed the administrative and corporate operations of the company.
Previous to coming to Aslan, Rob was the Director of Consulting and Financial Reporting with Humana Inc., where he directed the facilitation and management of relationships between the company and affiliated healthcare provider groups. Prior to Humana, Rob was the Director, Insurance Operations with Vencor, a leading full-service, long-term healthcare provider.
Nunnelley earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Dayton and is a Certified Public Accountant.
